Ragged Star

There's a themed party coming up next month. That theme is the witty "Communist Party". I figured a CCCP hammer and sickle shirt would be appropriate.

Now I did have one from waaaay back in my stenciling days (seriously, it's like at least 15 years old and still wearable... well, kinda) but it's a bit sketchy. What better reason to do a new one and change things up a bit.

For this one I wanted to get a scratched and worn print, so I what I did was use a wire brush on my acetate positive before exposure. I think it turned out pretty well.

Red and gold ink on 110 mesh screens.
